![]() Where the mist never leaves and the shadows have eyes. If he were higher in the world (ie a very influential senator) I would bump all the dicepools up by 3, if he were lower in the world (ie a very young person just starting out) I might reduce his dicepools by 3.There is a city on the Charrwind Coast unlike any other. ![]() He's likely to be shot at so his dodge pool is likely 6, and finally he might want to be seen as a pacifist as part of his public relations portfolio and always relies on bodyguards for shooting his shooting pool is thus 2 or 3. He might only have 9 dice for looking through and understanding policy documents (as he needs to have a basic grasp of changes he's making, even if only to work out if it benefits him or who he can get money from to sway his vote one way or another). So give him a pool of 12 in oratory type situations (such as speeches, deception or seeing through deception). His main 'job' is most likely swaying the public to agree with his decisions as well as to vote for him. Lets take your politician is he very high up in the world or just starting out? I'll assume somewhere in between ![]() ![]() 12 for very competent (ie their main job), 9 for fairly competent (ie something they could reasonably expect their main skill set to relate to), 6 for average, 3 and below for very poor, 15+ for the very skilled I use dicepools to gauge how good they should be. Personally, I never bother with npc stat blocks for non-combat npcs - it takes too much time and can ruin the flow of play while everyone waits for you to check numbers. I've actually wanted to go back and tweak the dossier.xsl file to make it more eye-friendly. If I didn't already have about a thousand things on my plate right now (not counting the holidays), I'd happily work on this. You could probably take the section from the Shadowrun5.xsl file (in the same directory as dossier.xsl). I just dissected the sheets that already existed. I made dossier.xsl with no prior knowledge of XSL. like you'd find in the Grunts section of the core book. It gives no stats, and it's designed to look like something that would be handed out as part of a police profile or something like that.įor what you're wanting to do, you'd want to have more of the data that is important for using the NPCs. It outputs the information that a PC is maybe going to know, and a picture. The dossier.xsl file (found in \sheets) is one that I created back in Chummer 4 days. All of the Chummer files output as XML data, and if you can do some XSL scripting, you can easily change the formats that are available. What I mean by XSL is the Extensible Stylesheet Language. "Watch your back, shoot straight, conserve ammo, and never, ever, cut a deal with a dragon." Living Community (Where you can play online) Subreddits For that please check out /r/ShadowrunReturns for help. Sadly our nova hot community isn't the best place to discuss the mechanics discussion or troubleshooting the video games. Mostly the pen and paper role playing game, but also the deck building card game, video games, and literature of Shadowrun. Discussion is primarily aimed at exploring narratives found in the Sixth World. Here at /r/Shadowrun we talk shop about all things in the shadows.
